Everything stops for tea

Hats

One of the interesting things about living here in a rural area is the hats. For some reason almost all of the men here wear a baseball type hat. They are usually advertising something like a tractor company, or a fishing bait company, etc.

It’s only a small one!

One of the features of wildlife here, are the alligators. Not crocodiles please, alligators or  ‘gators. We have a small one, (Ally, pathetic, isn’t it?), about six feet long who comes by every now and again. All you can see are his nostrils and his eye knobs out of the water.  The rest is submerged.
